Darwi Media wants darwi.org to be usable by everyone, including people with disabilities.
Our goal
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA. This is a goal and ongoing effort, not a claim of full conformance.
What we do
- Use headings, readable fonts and sufficient color contrast.
- Add alternative text to meaningful images and charts.
- Support keyboard navigation and visible focus.
- Write in plain language and explain scientific terms.
- Provide captions or transcripts for video and audio we produce, where feasible.
- Test pages with automated tools (such as Lighthouse and axe) and manual checks, including keyboard-only navigation and mobile screen sizes.
Known limitations
Some third-party content (embedded videos, linked PDFs from journals, external sites) and some older pages or page-builder elements may not be fully accessible. Some pages use decorative animated backgrounds; they carry no information. We are completing a full audit and will list any known issues here.
Feedback and help
If you have trouble accessing any content, email admin@darwi.org with the subject "Accessibility," the page link and the problem. We will try to respond within 5 business days and provide the information in another format if needed.
Review
We review this statement at least yearly. Last reviewed: October 29, 2026.
