Corrections Policy
How to report an error, and how we fix mistakes openly.
Report a correction →Last updated: October 29, 2026
Accuracy matters, especially in health and science. When we get something wrong, we fix it openly.
How to report an error
Email admin@darwi.org with the subject "Correction," the article link, what you think is wrong, and a source if you have one (for example, the original paper, trial registry entry or regulator notice).
What we do
- We acknowledge reports, usually within 2 business days.
- We check the claim against primary sources.
- If we confirm an error, we fix it promptly.
How corrections appear
- Correction: a factual error (a number, name, trial phase, study population, date). We fix the text and add a dated note at the end of the article explaining what changed, for example: "Correction, Oct 29, 2026: An earlier version said the trial enrolled 200 people. It enrolled 20."
- Update: new information after publication (e.g., a trial result, an FDA decision). We add a dated "Update" note.
- Clarification: wording that was accurate but could mislead. We revise it and add a dated note.
- Minor fixes: spelling, grammar or broken links are fixed without a note.
- Retraction of a source: if a study we covered is retracted or found seriously flawed, we update the story prominently and say so at the top.
- Removal: we rarely remove articles. We may do so for legal reasons, safety, or serious privacy concerns, and will note it where possible.
Corrections to newsletter content will be noted in the next issue when material.
What corrections are not
We don't change accurate reporting because a company or person dislikes it. Requests from sponsors or affiliate partners are handled the same as anyone else's. See our Editorial Policy.
